Nrityasana
Nrityasana is a attempt to connect science with Nritya, Music and Yoga, to find logic in these ancient old techniques. I definitely agree that some things should be followed without finding logic in them and just for feeling the rasa therein. But, in this fast moving technical world, where fitness and technology are the keys, my vision is to re-establish Classical Dance, Music and Yoga so as it remain intact in their original form and also keep pace with the new generation, so that coming generations understand the value behind these forms and why it needs to keep protected.
Sneha Gupta
I started learning Odissi at the age of 25. Many may think that it is too late to start a professional classical dance training. I believe it is never too late or too early to find your peace and happiness. I found myself in Odissi Classical Dance, gone through its many challenges and there are more to come, but this keeps me alive, meditated. Now, as I am going deep into science and logic behind Indian classical dance forms and Yoga, I am surprised and amazed in all ways. There is much more to my story, my research and experiences you can find here Blog and Philosophy, for now I choose to talk about events where I have performed Odissi Classical Dance, they are as follows:
