Hatha Yoga

A Yoga practisioner is always understood someone as who has great flexibility and can do most possible asanas. Yoga is anything that helps you go more closer to unite with the universe. Your body is one such thing. Hatha yoga focuses on your body mainly to make it as a channel for this purpose. Hence, Hatha yoga focuses on the physical aspect of yoga. 

 

What goes in mind reflects to the body and what the body goes through reflects in mind. For achieving oneness, you need both mind and body. If you are stressed, body becomes stiff and energy channels can not move freely. Yoga makes your body flexible, the stiffness releases, and hence your mind get calm and relaxed, and energy in you feels free. 

 

Another aspect is Hatha yoga protects your body from pain and injuries, hence stops your body to become a barrier between you and your higher purpose. If you have pain or injury, mind’s highest priority will be to cure it and it won’t be able to focus on any other thing.

 

All asanas, surya namaskar , postures, comes under Hatha Yoga.
